DescriptionI've been writing Lyrics for decades but I'm a LOUSY musician. I have played, Fender Telecaster, Fender 12 string and regular Acoustic, and Piano. My problem is I'm a bit of a perfectionist and in the time I allotted to learning to play these instruments, I failed to come up to my own pre-conceived standards. For example I could not for the life of me play guitar like Jeff Beck! You see the problem. I've managed and produced a few amateur bands and have many musician friends. I now live in the back of beyond in Colorado and no ready access to bands or musicians except remotely back in the UK. As I said, I've been writing lyrics for years but have not been able to put them to music until now. I know many people frown upon AI but... without it I can't put the words to musical arrangements. With AI I can input the lyrics, put in my keyword commands, tempos and preferred instruments which allows other musicians to hear what may be possible and possibly cover my songs. And that might bring joy to others which is a good thing. I have approx 260 songs including variations such as minimum instrumental accompaniment to full AI production band and orchestra, female vocalists, male vocalists etc etc. The core consists of nearly 50 songs most of which are available on Apple, iTunes, Spotify and most of the platforms that Distrokid distribute to. I publish the lyrics with the AI production so that anyone can listen online. My "Artist" name is Alckemie (spelt just so) and my Lyrics have my name as Gordon Alexander which are my 2 first names, my last/surname is Reeves. I am British and also a US Citizen (lived here in Colorado for the last 32 years). I'm old and as a British Army army brat, have a vast experience of living around the world and seeing many cultures and witnessed many very silly politicians try to bend the world to their warped ideas. I have a few "Protest Songs" but also some not so silly little "Love Songs". If my "ELTON" is out there take a listen. Thanks
Dreams & AmbitionsI would like to find and collaborate with a Producer or Musician or a Band to bring my lyrics to a much wider audience. Yes I'd love to have a world wide successful song. Who knows maybe in the vein of such milestones as Imagine, Sounds of Silence, Stairway to Heaven (even if the lyrics in stairway are very confusing and really about a high street shopper, the sum of the parts, lyrics music and production, are greater than the individual entities and create an overwhelming sense of wellbeing). As the title suggests "Dreams" but with the right collaboration the sky's the limit!
EquipmentJust me really, my words come from my own experiences, my own thoughts, my passion for life, my indignation toward our "leaders" and their cavalier policies towards people, climate, war and their narcissistic self aggrandizement.
Use of AII use AI to bring my lyrics to life. My own musical abilities are sadly abysmal. Without AI my lyrics are just words on a page or in a data file on my Mac. By using AI I might be able to also involve and inspire musicians to write notes that bring my words to life in a more human way. Right now I only have AI to release them from the page.

I was inspired to write "No Place to Roam" by the ever rising population that our planet has to provide for and the, in my opinion, futile attempts to explore any other planet. The only close one that we might be able to actually stand on is Mar and guess what...... IT HAS LESS TO OFFER THAN PLANET EARTH does. The words are 100% my own with NO ai input but the Vocals and Music are 100% AI. I created "Aría Alta" to have a slightly more human quality with a breathy almost lisping expression. There's a line in there referencing "Buzz's Footprints" which again was inspired from real events. I was lucky enough to ski with Buzz when I was in the PR department of Crested Butte Ski Area. Fascinating man and a true explorer. Columbus and Vasco Da Gama knew they could sail back home again but Buzz and his crew mates had one chance to lift off the moon, if the rocket motors failed to fire up they were destined to watch the Blue Planet for a little while longer and then slowly enter an eternal sleep as their O2 ran out.
